I have been going to The fresh market for years. I can't even remember how many. The last last 10 years to The fresh market in Cary on Cary parkway. It has always been a great experience. People have been very helpful. Always very courteous going out of their way to please the customer. Over the last few months I have not had this experience when going to the fresh market on Cary parkway. I thought maybe it was just one week or maybe 2 weeks where I wasn't treated like I'm used to Today I spoke with the manager and ask him if management had changed and he told me it had. I told him about my experience and that I am a long-standing customer of the fresh market but I will not be going back there anymore. after today's experience. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but for me this store has really gone down and that makes me very disappointed.

Items that are 2/$x don’t consistently ring up for the special price. I asked the cashier if the pretzels rang up for the special price or if I had to buy 2 and she said they rang up correctly. She was looking at the water that was 2/4.00 that did ring up as the special price for just 1 item. The pretzels and jerky were both on special but since I didn’t buy 2 I didn’t get the special price. I don’t care if you have to buy 2 to get the price, it should just be clear on the tag and the cashier shouldn’t have been so quick to dismiss the question after seeing a single item that I didn’t even ask about ring up correctly.

lone of my favorite markets to shop at is at The Fresh Market. The produce is always fresh, and the meats are top-quality butcher cuts. You can really tell they focus on high quality products that make eating healthier easier. They also have a made fresh ready-to-eat food bar that is absolutely delicious. It’s perfect for those days you don’t feel like cooking, especially with their Wednesday specials. And don’t skip dessert, the cakes and pies are some of the best and definitely worth it if you’re craving something sweet.

no one was stationed at the bakery case, but the case lights were on. so, i asked this white guy standing at the butcher case if i could have help with getting something out of the case and was met with attitude. bro rudely goes, “i can’t help you, i don’t handle cakes. that’s not what i do.” and goes and tells another lady if she can help me and she says “yeah we sent everyone home for the night” …i said “i understand, that’s why i'm asking if there’s anyone here who could help?”, if not, i’d have understood and came back. didn’t need attitude because bros upset he didn’t get sent home early like everyone else. was my first experience here too because i been looking for one thing no place has… god forbid a girl get a craving for a crème brûlée.

Thursdays are my fav days! You can’t beat the $6 market meals and $6 chickens. Very affordable if you meal prep and don’t have a ton of time to cook. I also enjoy their fall snacks and decorations. They have some friendly people working there. I did have a small interaction with an older gentleman who was not very personable, never smiled, he didn’t put any love into preparing my market meal a few weeks ago. I try to avoid him when he is working. Everyone else is just lovely. Can’t wait to see what is coming for the Christmas holiday.
